Sensitive to smell around ovulation time?

I'm entering my fertile week, haven't ovulated yet, but for a couple days now I've had a heightened sense of smell. This morning it's to the point that some things are making me very nauseous/gag (they usually don't bother me). I've previously noticed a heightened sense of smell around ovulation, but never this bad. Is this a thing or am I just weird? Anyone else have this symptom in your fertile week?
