Is your 4 month old sleeping through the night? If so, any tips or did it just happen naturally?

I don't have much to complain about.  My LO wakes once at the 5 hrs mark to eat and maybe once again (just needs his pacifier and a few love pats) before morning wake up.  The husband and I just take turns if it's more than once.  We don't have a schedule per say but we do stick to a routine that includes a 2 HR nap in the AM and 2 hrs nap in the PM with a cat nap and hour or so before bed.  He's in daycare so I can't control everyday but he sticks to it pretty well.  He's only taking about 24oz but I can't seem to get him to take any more...anything else I can be doing to help him drop that night feed?

My daughter just started sleeping through the night by chance, but I think having a routine with her early on helped. We always got her dressed in her jammies around 7-7:30. At around 3 months she began to pick that up as a signal that she would soon be going to bed and began to fuss for a bottle around 8. She would drink and fall asleep for about 30 minutes to an hour and then wake up and drink more milk, then sleeping for about 6 hours. Over the last month she has basically trained herself. She now knows to "fill up" around 8-8:30 when drinking her bottle and sleeps between 8-11 hours!!

With my first kiddo I EBF and didn't get my period until 7 months pp. EBF kiddo #2 and haven't gotten my period yet and he is 4 months old!

Consider yourself lucky with the one night feed! My 4 month old still wakes every 2-3 hours to eat all night long. I'm breastfeeding so I'm the only one that gets up with him and I work. Exhausted is my new normal haha! My doctor said its normal and hopefully it'll get better soon!

My baby has been sleeping all night since 6 weeks. I read Babywise before she was born and started using that method early on. It's worked wonders. It's also worked well for lots of my friends. The friends whose babies don't sleep are the ones who didn't do Babywise. You could try looking into that and seeing if it would work for you!

Mine was having problems by waking up 5 to 6 times a night at the four month mark. I was mostly cosleeping with her.  So i started puttung her to sleep for naps byherself. She did have to cry enough to get used to self soothing and putting herself to sleep.  I always put her down in her crib drowsy but eyes open and it took about 2 weeks for her to sleep through the night ( as in 7 hours straight,wake up.once for feeding,  and then slerp another 4 hours). It was hard for a while, but really worked quickly even with a bsby who was a bad sleeper. we do have a bedtime for her now too. Good luck with sleep training!  Its hard but worth it and best to do it now instead of a few months from nos. They can get more stubborn and cry for longer at 6 months old. She cried for 20 mins straight gof a few nights pretty hard.

Our daughter started going down at 6-7 and then getting up for a bottle at 9:30-10:30 and then like magic she didn't get up again until 5-6am! I mean she would wake for her paci but not really even awake. Now, she doesn't even wake for the 9:30 bottle. Some nights she wants to stay up until 8ish but she falls asleep easily when she does. Maybe twice a week now she may want a bottle at like 1am but rarely. I keep a pretty good routine with her but don't stop her from napping just because it's close to bedtime. I do try to keep her bedtime routine as close to the same as possible and different than nap time routines. Also, she slept in a cosleeper attached to our bed until a week or so ago when she transitioned to her crib in a separate room. The 1 am feeding came back when she first moved to the crib.
