Can I get pregnant again? I'm sad need help

I had an abortion in June this year don't judge because you don't know the reason behind it. I would have never got an abortion, but in this case I HAD TO. Very personal & I would not say why, but it was something that happened to me I never thought would happen. Now me & my partner of 2 years have been trying to have a baby of our own I had sex on my fertile days and still not pregnant I'm sad because I'm wondering is it because of the abortion? Will I ever become pregnant? What's wrong with me ?

It's NOT beause of the abortion. An abortion is the same extremely safe procedure done to women who have missed miscarriages, (a D & C) and they all usually go on to have healthy pregnancies. 
 
Also, my mother had 2 abortions before having 3 children, and we were all fine. And I had an abortion two years ago and am now 29 weeks pregnant. 
Don't spend so much time focusing on guilt and anxiety, maybe take a break from trying and just relax and heal from the abortion. You will get pregnant again when it's time. Good luck💗

I had to have a D&C in June 2015 due to my babies heart stopping. They had to scrap my uterus and I bled a lot and needed a blood transfusion. The healing process took a long time, even though I was ready my body was not. You have to be patient with yourself and give it time. If your religious pray. It took me 7 months of actively trying (tracking days, sex everyother day or more, pillow under my hips after, fertility foods and meds) I am now 32 weeks pregnant. Please don't be hard on yourself, we don't know what the circumstances were, only you know that. Just give your body and mind time to heal and be easy with yourself. Good luck!

It takes a healthy couple about 1year to conceive. It took me and my husband 2 years with our first.

How long have you been trying?  
Yes, a previous abortion can sometimes affect fertility just like any surgical procedure, but plenty of women go on to have more kids.  Don't think of it as being cursed for your decision or wanting like that. If you've been actively trying more than a year I recommend seeing your doctor about some testing.  If the previous pregnancy was with a different partner that could be an indicator too.

It could prolong your time before conceiving again due to what your body goes thru in an abortion but it shouldn't keep you from conceiving altogether. If you have questions or concerns, you can always call and ask your dr but from what I've seen, when couples relax and STOP trying is when they end up conceiving. Yes you can get pregnant again. My best friend had an abortion as she truly wasn't in a position to be a very good mother to the child or provide for it. 3 years later she has a 9 mo old baby boy who she loves dearly.
