Please help... 😢
Hubby and I have been "TTC" since September of 2015. I came off BC and basically we were not vigorously trying, but we were not preventing either. In April I went to the OBGYN for some issues and in May I started using OPKs. Still no pregnancies and this month I didn't ovulate.
We are 23 and 22 (almost 23) and married. We own a house (we were able to put 20% down), both cars were paid for in cash, we have pets, I cover us for medical insurance, and the list goes on.
He knows I've wanted kids since the day we got married over 3.5 years ago. I've always been a little nervous because I'm irregular and my parents had fertility issues when TTC between my sister and I. Took them 9.5 years! My grandma and sister both had hysterectomies very early due to complications. (Around 19 and 26 years old)
Well I thought hubs was on board this whole time but apparently not!
There's always "stipulations" of why he doesn't want children...
"we need to have jobs" - understood
"we need to have our own place" - we do
"we need money in savings" - check
"I'm going back to school" - that's fine
"I need a new job" - alright...
One day he even told me he didn't want kids anymore (side note: I told him before we got married that that was a deal breaker... Ive wanted to be a mom since I was a kid!)
I am SO fed up.
Knowing the issues that run in my family and how strong my desire is to have children I just don't understand. I compromised with him on getting a dog (which he knew I REALLY did not want) but he can't come around to fulfilling his promise of having a family??
Do you ladies have any advice?
I'm at a breaking point and feel like breaking down and crying over it. I pray something in his heart will change but I'm beginning to doubt it ever will. There's always something else that needs "accomplished". 💔💔💔
This all came out once I mentioned trying Clomid last night. I explained that you can only use it so many cycles in your lifetime and then the bomb got dropped on me.
