Progesterone shots?!

Question

Anyone else getting these?? I had my first baby at 34 weeks so second time around they wanted me to do the shots. I went 38.5 weeks that time. Third time now they are leaving it up to me, I want to get them because I feel I'd rather be safe than sorry!  Anyone get them and they didn't work??

Im currently getting them 3 years ago my son was born preemie at 29+4 for unknown reasons he just wanted out lol this is my 3rd shot so far everything looks good i go see my high risk dr every 2 weeks for scans and checks they are stopping the cervix check at my next appt which is week 23 unless they see a need to keep checking via u/s they are stopping my shots at 35 weeks and whatever happens they said they wont really try and stop which sucks as i dont want another premie but im ok with is as long as my baby girl is healthy
