Is it normal to get a UTI while pregnant?

My dr told me at my first appt that is very common for uti and yeast infections dieing pregnancy. I've never had one so I wouldn't know if I did have one unless the symptoms were real bad.  My dr said that you can get them and not know so that's one of the things they check ay each appt during urine sample

I've had like 3 this pregnancy 🙄 but it is very common but I'm not sure if you could call it normal, not everyone has them. I didn't have any with my first pregnancy, and boom one right after the other with this one, and now I have a yeast infection 😒

I wouldnt say "normal" because that makes it sound like it happens to everyone. But, I know it is common. I've never had one (fingers crossed) but my friend was admitted overnight for one while pregnant a few months ago because it was heading to her kidneys. If you think you have one, get checked out as soon as you can.
