Short period?!

I started my 'period' 8/22, and it was VERY light, hardly anything like it normally is. By midday there was nothing at all. So really, I only bled for maybe 4 hours. My husband and BD twice that night and still nothing. I took a pregnancy test early Monday morning too, and it was negative. Is there another reason I am not bleeding anymore?
