I thought I'd never be able to post here. Due to preeclampsia and low amniotic fluid we started the induction process (37 weeks) August 21st (Monday) around 6:30. It was midnight before we actually got pitocin going (my birthday was Tuesday - what a great gift!) I ended up being in labor for 46 hours. I pushed for 2 hours and just had no progress and Baby and I both were super tachycardic so I was soon under general anesthesia for a c section! I woke up to discover that I'd had a beautiful baby GIRL! the day after my own birthday. So special. She loves to breastfeed and we've both been recovering nicely. It was all completely worth it for our little angel ♡
