Disappointment

Not baby related just need a place to vent a bit.

So I was up for a promotion and the results of who got it came out today. After a month of people hyping me up for it and getting me excited, I didn't make it. I'm a little heartbroken right now. I feel so ready for this next step and I wanted it really badly. I know everything happens for a reason and instead of focusing on all the new responsibilities I would have had I can focus on being a new mother. It just hurts right now.
