Stephen J. Greenhouse, M.D., received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology and a 2-year fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and fertility at The George Washington University. Dr. Greenhouse is a clinical assistant professor at The George Washington University and the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. Dr. Greenhouse is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology.

I never got my period since I first got them when I was 13. I was on birth control since then. I got married like 3 and a half years ago. And my gynecologist started a new bc medicine as I came to states after getting married. I was a virgin when I got married. And I stopped my birth control medicine like a year ago. And after I stopped my medicine I started getting my period like after 6 months. First it was 6 months then it was 4 months and and then 2 months and now my cycle started getting regular. But the thing is my cycle is like for 2 weeks long. Sometimes i get my period more than 2 weeks too. Can you please help me and let me know what should I do?

So, I had nexplanon for ten months, it got snapped on half in my arm, and replaced. I spotted from the time I got it put in the first time, until after the second round when they put me on birth control pills to level out my bleeding. I bled so hard my period week that I was getting up every two hours or less to change my pad, tampon, and sometimes (2x in one night) change my sheets. Since then they have me a depo shot and I didn't bleed at all. I removed my bar and went strictly to depo. Is it normal to spot two months into the first round? Last Monday I spotted, and then today, 9 days later started again. I'm waiting on my shot to wear off (september) so I can ttc my second child. Should I expect spotting now even though I never did with the depo before? My mom and step mom conceived my younger brothers while on depo.
