Dr. Roth completed her undergraduate degree in Women’s Studies at the University of Maryland, College Park, where she graduated magna cum laude and inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. She earned her Medical Degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. She continued on to the University of Colorado, Denver where she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a 3 year fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She then served as an Assistant Professor at University of Colorado for 2 years before moving back to Maryland. Dr. Roth is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

I need some help. Me and my husband have been trying to get pregnant but every time I've got sick after waiting 6 weeks n taken a test it's been negative but for the first time a month ago I took a test and I feel like im the only one who has cried because it was negative. Note I've never cried until a month ago because it's negative. Has anyone else had this problem and feel like you're not fertile?

I had a tubal pregnancy and I lost my left Fallopian tube. Why is it harder to get pregnant ?

I'm 39, husband is 30, with no prior issues of Getting or keeping pregnancies, youngest is 2 1/2 years.

I had a miscarriage at 20 weeks 9 months ago and been ttc for 7 months now which my previous children, we get pregnant immediately. Cycles are clockwork regular as are ovulation sticks testing postive on day 14 consistently. Since the loss, later reported to be an infected placenta, which did result in a d&c, my cycles the first 72 hours are excessively heavy then normal the last 3-4 days which indicates to me to see the Dr because in all my years and children I've never had heavy cycles let alone excessive. So far all blood work is normal, aside from slight anemia, but ultrasound shows "excessive veins" and nothing else to report? I have a CT scan tomorrow and endometrial biopsy in 2 weeks. Dr mentioned pcs, pelvic congestion syndrome possibility. What is it, does it prevent pregnancy, what would have caused me to get it if this is what I have?  I'm a healthy active lean lady who eats healthy. Is there anything else i should know? I thank you and anyone else in advance for input.

My husband had a Chiari I malformation (treated with decompression surgery and a c1 & 2 lamectomy). Would this affect his fertility at all?
