Plastic or Glass bottles? Why? Which brands?

I've always used plastic bottles and will do so with this baby, too. The thought of using glass bottles scares me bc I tend to be clumsy lol

Using glass bottles exclusively.  Tommie tippee, avent, dr. Browns, born free, gerber, and evenflo, all make them.  Hey come with different size nipples in case your baby doesn't like one.  I bought a 2 back of each brand because just like plastic bottles baby might not like certain ones.

My reason for glass is simply this:  although they say BPA Free,  as you wash your bottles with the bottle brush you are slowly creating internal scratches into the plastic.  Let's face it with busy schedules and as baby grows not everyone remembers or has time to sterilize.  After a while I feel the amount of bacteria that hides in those scratches could become harmful.

Everyone will have a personal preference but after checking into things I will use glass bottles once baby has mastered the art of nursing....

Love the idea of glass but everyone I've talked to that has used them ended up using plastic bc they couldn't find nipples they(baby) liked for the glass ones

I honestly didn't even know they made glass baby bottles. We used plastic. I would imagine glass bottles are much heavier for a little baby to hold once they are able to hold them on their own. Plus I'd be too afraid of me or the baby dropping them and breaking all over the place.
