Free bra fitting?

Ok so I know departments stores, Victoria's Secret and Soma offer free bra fittings but they are hoping to sell you a bra. They don't carry my size. Right now I wear a 38H from Lane Bryant and was measured as a 34H which they didn't carry. This morning my bra was too tight (don't hate me). Does anyone know where I can get a fitting that doesn't involve them trying to sell me a bra? I'm afraid they'll measure me wrong since they don't have my size. Can the OBGYN do it?

I feel your frustration. Im not a H but I went victoria secret to get fitted and the lady lied to me so i can buy my bra from them. I politely declined and went to the store across from them. So i was looking for the perfect tube bra for my wedding dress at the time and the lady just looked at me and said you arnt that size. I looked at her and said I am just wearing a big shirt my breast are large and was looking to see if tou could size me. I dont know what this lady problems was but she just kept saying over and over its not your size. She sized me and i was bigger then the size i was looking at. She thought i was smaller. I am short and busty but like to wear big shirts so she mistaken me for smaller. Its irritating because all i wanted was the perfect bra but she wouldnt shut up about me having thw wrong size that i needed a smaller size. Ugh

I'm not sure where your from, but where I live there are bra stores called "change" that carry up to size I. They will size you in store and if they don't carry your size they will tell you straight up. (I know because they had to send me away due to outgrowing their sizing, 30 I problems)
