Not sure whether I believe it actually works but you would need to apply it BEFORE skin gets stretched and stretch marks start appearing.

Put it everywhere  belly ,thighs,lower back , butt and boobs. I though just belly until I woke up with stretch marks on my boobs😭

Yeah start now! You won't really know when you'll start showing for sure. It does just show up overnight. I thought I was in the clear as far as stretch marks go, until I got to about week 27 and my belly grew overnight and I got my first one.
