Too early for digital?

According to glow I should have ovulated 16 days ago. I was taking opk's throughout my fertile week but never caught my surge (I wasn't religiously testing). This past week I held off on OPKs because I was busy and just started testing again. Hubs and I BD'd everyday during fertile week and missed 3 days last week. I have PCOS so I'm unsure exactly when AF should show. Should I go ahead and test to see? Would a digital work if I ovulated during my fertile week? Also, since the beginning of this cycle my OPKs looked very similar (didn't start out super faint) and have been pretty much the same now. My last AF was July 16 so I'm well overdue now.
