Confused so help

My boyfriend and I are thinking about finally having sex. We're both 16 and we've been together for about a year now. I love him and trust him with everything and he does to me also. Just I'm scared of the risk that come from sex. Like mainly pregnancy. We've done just most hand stuff but I want more. I don't know if it's not worth the risk or I'm being too paranoid. If someone can help me I would be very thankful
