Pregnancy nerves; why don't I feel any symptoms now?

The first week I found out I was pregnant (week 4) I felt a whole slew of physical symptoms, from exhaustion to bits of nausea, to being gassy, and having mild cramping. But now, I'm week 5 and a few days, and not really feeling as much as in week 4. My breasts are still super tender and I am occasionally feeling mild cramps. But I'm not sleeping as much, actually waking up earlier, not having any stomach and digestion issues. 
My husband tried to comfort me saying that maybe my body was detoxing from the caffeine and stopping my ADHD medicine (which makes sense with the extreme exhaustion I first experienced). 
I'm worried about if this pregnancy will stick. I don't have my first appointment until October 3rd (my obgyn is insanely busy). I suffer from anxiety, and trying my hardest to stay calm and not worry. I even took a test yesterday to make sure I'm still pregnant. I'm trying really hard not get into my anxiety and panic crazies.... 
Any words of advice or comfort?
