It's definitely not my thing. But whom am I to judge others love life, I'm just not convinced they work long term. I mean I've heard too many stories where eventually someone gets hurt or someone gets jealous. But to each their own I guess.

So, for awhile I was hooking up with one of my best friends. He is in an open relationship with a girl who is poly. Things between us started out as FWB and everything was great. The point where I couldn't hang was when feelings happened. He started to catch feelings super hard, and then I started to catch them a little. That's when I broke it off. We had crossed that line and things had become way more involved than we planned. He went from calling me his "FWB" to calling me "his other partner". I'm glad that I had this experience because it taught me that I'm monogamous and that poly just isn't for me

This sounds kinda weird but my boyfriend and I are "swingers" I guess.

Basically what happened was we were having a sleepover at his house with one of his friends (Chris) and his girlfriend (Sam). But before Sam got there, Chris had been hitting on me and at first I was a little offended that Patrick wasn't doing anything but I started to enjoy it because Chris is kinda hot (okay, really hot). Then like half way through the night, after Chris and Sam had had sex and Patrick and I had done it too, Chris was like "Bro, your girlfriend is hot. Can I fuck her?" And Patrick was like "if she's down, go ahead" and I made sure it was okay with him but Chris and I had sex then I told him to go have sex with Sam because Chris was okay with it.

It's only with them though and all of us are fine with it. I enjoy it because Patrick is rough and we can't do rough because I'm too sensitive and Chris is a little change from Patrick.

Patrick and I talked about it though and if we do get married or engaged, our swinger relationships will not continue because marriage should be monogamous. That's just my take on it though.
