Am i being a selfish wife?

I've been talking with my husband about taking a trip to a theme park like Walt Disney or Universal Studios because we've never had a vacation together... Not even a honeymoon and we've been married for a year. The closet thing we've done to getting out is a movie and dinner. So, his mom is flying in town in three weeks now all the sudden he wants to take a trip to the beach, rent a car, and get a hotel, for her and us but has never wanted to take me on a trip...and one that I've been begging him for , for a while now. He hasn't seen his mom in 10 years so I know this is a very special moment for him and he wants to have fun while she's here but dang....it just kills me how he jumped to plan a trip when she's coming and not one that I've been asked for. He claims we don't have money right now for a big trip but renting a car and hotel are big just for a beach trip!! Am I wrong and being selfish??
