Ergo or Lillebaby or wrap? Such a hard decision.

Question

I was all ready to purchase the ergo baby cool air mesh 360 carrier because of the front facing position and cooler features. Many people tho in reviews are saying the material is uncomfortable? Now I'm debating whether to not get the cool air option and just the original 360 carrier made of cotton?

However... Now I just discovered the lillebaby complete all seasons and looks awesome as well and no insert needed for infants! 6 positions... But again people are saying the material and their babies legs rubbed.

Then there is a the moby wrap which I read is good for newborns and very adjustable.

Need help... Anyone else debating what carrier or wrap to get?

I have a Moby and an ergo type carrier. I used the Moby up until about 4-5 months I think. I found it was the best for that time period, especially newborn, just a pain in the butt to get wrapped up in. Never used it again after that.

I have the ergo and I love it. I didn't like the newborn insert though, mostly because it was summer and too hot. I used the k'tan wrap mostly when my girl was too small for the ergo. Now we use the ergo mostly. It's much more comfortable for her I think. I haven't had any experience with the lillebaby though :)

My little peanut was too small for the carrier we bought but I did have a moby. I honestly love both!!!

I want a Moby or Boba, but I have a Baby Bjorn and just purchased an Ergo with infant insert ($95 on Amazon!!).

I'm 5 days past 40 weeks now, so I haven't tried either of these it yet personally.

I have them all. Wraps are definitely better for newborn.

You can try on quite a few carriers at the store, it helped us a bit. You may also have a baby wearing group in your area to let you try on or people to sell used, try Facebook. The mesh on ergo 360 breathable was a bit rough but I am still hoping to use that one eventually. I plan to skip the insert and use the moby for newborn/round the house. If we aren't gifted the ergo, I will probably wait to buy it till baby is older and I am sure.

I read it's not good for baby's back and hips to be forward facing in a carrier. I have the moby wrap. I love it, but it's a pain to tie onto yourself. Since its long it touches the ground while you wrap yourself and I think that's nasty when you're in a parking
Lot or Walmart. My friend has the Tula. Which is nice, but also costs some money. Personally I wish I would have sucked it up and just got something like the Tula.

We bought the lille baby be a use everyone e knew we had the ergo with their first loved but bur said it was too hot. We love being outdoors and plan to hike some and the lille baby fit our frames both comfortably
