Leaking amniotic fluid?

I woke up with the need to go to the bathroom. As I was getting up I felt fluid leaking, but not sure if it was urine or amniotic fluid. I went to the restroom and when I wiped it was the color of urine so I didn't worry. I went and laid back down and got up about three minutes later and went back to the bathroom and sat on the toilet and fluid came out as soon as I sat down. Not like when you have to "push" when you pee. And when I wiped it was clear. I'm not sure if maybe it was just discharge or what. How do I know what it is and when to call L&D? I'm 39+4.
