I know neither is ideal but our house is so small, the crib will be in our master bedroom. The only options are under a ceiling vent (AC and central heat) or near a window (waist high window that has vertical blinds, and a hanging thermal curtain, no cords and the side of the crib is solid so curtain couldn't get sucked through slats etc.) We plan to move by the time baby is 8 months old, so I hope she won't be standing before we move.
