Afraid of early labor?

Reading all these posts about wanting to be induced or trying to start labor early is making me feel like I'm the only one scared of early labor. At 35 weeks I was checked, my doctor told me I was a little over 1cm dialated and softening. The whole week afterwards I've had a lot of clear mucus discharge and cramping so I asked her not to check me at this last appointment. I was worried poking at it would make me go into early labor. I'm over ready not to be pregnant anymore but I dont want my baby to have to go into the nicu. I want to try to breastfeed asap and I've always had issues with nurses giving my babies a bottle. I want to make sure she stays with me and we can bond and build milk supply. Hoping it all works out the way I want it too. Anyone else afraid of early labor?
