What career do or did have while starting a family?

So i want to start a family but not right now since i dont got a job but was wondering what job do or did have when you started having kids? Was it you and significant other or just one person having a job?

I was babysitting and taking classes online my husband is active duty. Our son is 2 now and I'm still in school but finally doing all on campus (I had a really hard time leaving him). But I am in school as a pre med psychology major.

I was a vet tech during my whole pregnancy then when my daughter was 2 months old I started working in a pathology lab (still working there)

I worked in retail as a sales associate at a shoe store when i got pregnant with my son then we moved and i worked at walmart

Now im a sahm on permenant disability due to my birth defect in my eyes causing me to lose my vision slowly but rapidly and im currently pregnant with our second due in jan

I was an infant teacher and hubby was unemployed soon after we found out we were pregnant.
