Crown section is sticky and hard to comb 😟

Hey ladies,

I have thick hair but recently I feel like right under my crown area is "sticking together" when I comb it ,I have to be really careful or else I will end up with huge amounts of hair on my comb. I have no idea what to do.. It feels like the shampoo gets stuck in that area and when combing I can actually feel the stickyness.. 😢 what should I do ? The rest of my hair feels normal and not sticky or dry at all 😟 but it's just right under that crown at the roots where every hair is wavy sectioned and stuck together.. Any tips out there on this? I have no idea what i should do.. Sometimes i feel like shaving my entire head and be done with it 😔👀
