1 month to early??

Question

Is 1 month to early to switch baby from bassinet in our to crib in his room? Hes transitioning to just breastmilk. So how would I go about this? I just wonder would I sleep better or less?! Lol idk. I tried getting him to nap in it and he just cried :/

A baby is ment to stay in your room until 6 months old it reduces the risks of SIDs. Our little man went from Moses basket to cot at 4 weeks old but in OUR room, maybe move the cot into your room until baby is 6 months old

We transitioned our little girl to her own room at one month, and we started sleeping so much better. I used to wake up to every one of her little sleep grunts and check on her a million times. Plus I think our snoring would wake her up too. We started slow by just spending more time with her in there so she'd get used to the smells, and the first couple nights we'd wait until she was asleep in our room, then pushed the bassinet into hers. Now she's almost two months and she sleeps 8 hours a night without us disturbing her and we get more sleep not having to worry about every noise she makes. :)

I personally think you will sleep less, having to walk down the hall every time he wakes up. I have my 5 month old in our room with no intention of moving him anytime soon.

My son went to his crib at a week. My SO didn't want him to, but I didn't want him sleeping in our room and getting used to have it and then having to struggle breaking him of the habit that he only sleeps with is when he gets older.

My little girl has been in her crib since day one. Our rooms are conjoined so I can hear everything plus the Angel care monitor we have is a huge blessing and gives me piece of mind. My little girl will be a month old Saturday and does great in her crib.

We moved from the bassinet portion of the pack and play to his crib in his own room at 4 months old. We had also attempted naps in the crib but they never went well. Night 1 in the crib we waited till he was almost asleep and he went down without a problem. He's been sleeping through the night since then.

Our baby went in his crib at 3 weeks because we weren't getting any sleep with all his grunts. We have a video monitor tho so I can always see him and hear him. But I turn it down so I can't hear the grunts as much but I wake up to his cries.

Day 6 he was in his own room and it was glorious.  We all Slept so much better.  Our risk of SIDS may be increased but we have our sanity which is pretty important too.
