gallbladder hates me

So I ended up in the ER yesterday thinking I had appendicitis. It turns out, it's my gallbladder and they said that it wasn't surprising that it was acting up because I had a baby recently. My gallbladder has to be removed but it's not infected so I don't have to have emergency surgery. I was in so much pain, I started throwing up from it and couldn't take care of my child. I was lucky we recently took in a friend of mine who ended up homeless. She took care of my colicky baby for hours and tried to help me. Anyone else had gallbladder issues?
