dreaming about someone else

Does anyone ever have a reoccurring dream about another guy?! I have been with my boyfriend for 3 years and everything is great but for the past 7 months I have had a romantic dream about my best guy friend EVERY NIGHT almost. It's so weird. I feel like I'm mentally cheating on my boyfriend but it's not like I'm choosing to dream about my friend, it just happens. It also makes me feel awkward to be around my friend now because I almost feel like he knows I dream about him lol
