L&D cost

Has anyone gotten an exact or estimate amount of how much it's going to cost you to have your bundle of joy before you actually go in ? I'm switching insurance for the third time cause I got a new job but I never really had to figure out insurance really for me before and this seems to be looming over me. Do I call the new provider and would they be able to let me know exactly or do I call the hospital I plan to deliver at? I just don't want to be surprised if I somehow will owe 5,000$ for having an offspring. 😰
