Pertussis Vaccine Proven Ineffective!

Here is the abstract from an article I stumbled upon from PubMed. Researchers discovered that vaccinated baboons did not clear the infection any faster than those who had not been vaccinated. They were also contagious upon secondary infection whereas baboons who had been naturally infected were not. SO! The vaccinated individuals posed more of a threat to the population and herd immunity than did the not vaccinated.
