What happened?

Question

I took an ovulation test for the whole "2 week fertility window" and it turned out negative every day, and I just got my period, which means I did ovulate at some point. According to my doctor exactly 15 days before I got my period, so I counted backwards and I did got a negative test on that exact day...so what happened? Can someone help me understand?

i had the same problem in my last cycle. i think its because I didn't fully understand how to use them. i got a red line and one faint but visible other line. i had to work and be un tune with my body and did the BD  every single day that fertile week..
try and look out for other physical symptoms too.  the OPK stress me out tbh

I've had this same problem too, literally tested every day for the month of August. Negative negative negative. Then I get my period 12th-16th then another heavy bleed only for a few hours on 19th August. I do ovulation test as soon as I finish and get 2 faint lines on 26 & 27 August....I had some spotting yesterday 5DPO.
I feel as if I can't work out my cycle and it's frustrating!! 
My Dr said not to use ovulation tests because they can cause unnecessary stress....maybe she's right

Test as soon as your period ends some women ovulate early

this may seem far fetched but Ill say it anyway. 
I have 4 children. 
I remember conceiving each one of them.
hubby and i dtd on day 5 of my period. silly? crazy? maybe, but after trying for 4 years it has worked for us. not all of us ovulate middle of cycle. many women ovulate last days of cycle and even after the fertile window. As far fetched as it sounds look it up. Women who fell pregnant on their period 😊

Did you take the test at the same time everyday? Did you wait until it had been at least 4 hours since you've peed? Super important or else sometimes it just shows as negative. I've had that happen.
