Cradle cap!??

My almost 2 month old has what looks like cradle cap and he didn't have it at birth. I just noticed it about a week ago and I don't have health insurance at the moment for him. What can I do or what can I use to help get rid of it for good? Thank you in advance

I used coconut oil and a fine baby comb to comb it all out. Don't wash your baby's hair a lot, just their body.

I looked it up. It says it's from your glands producing extra oil and it can clear itself up over time. Mild shampoo can help but if it's very severe then you may want to take your baby in to get a medicated shampoo.

Use coconut oil or olive oil to help keep the skin moisturized. DON'T pick at it either. It could cause bleeding then scabs.
