So I went through my boyfriends phone a month or so ago(without him knowin) and found that he had been texting a girl who's name wasn't save in his phone is was just the number, but it was a local number... she was talking about her being on her period and what he would do if she wasn't well...I was really too mad to pay attention or read what he had said back but it wasn't bad I don't think he really sad anything that bad back. Well she sent him a screen shot of my Facebook page where it had my profile picture of me and him, he replied "yea we've been talking, plus me and you are friends anyway"...well we had been dating 3 months by then. I haven't said anything to him about it I've kept my mouth shut cause we don't go through each other's phones, should I keep quiet? Or ask him about it. It don't even make me mad anymore cause the texting stoped end of July, and when she seen he had a GF. 😕 I just kind of wanna know if he cheated on me or not.

But the texts shown no indication that they had met up and had sex even though she's local.

UPDATE: I straight up told him about this and he said he "didn't remember" I told him everything she and he talked about because I remembered almost everything he still claims he "don't remember talking to any girl"

Although it may seem bad, I wouldn't say a thing as you didn't trust him and you went through his phone. It won't end well for you, because he won't be able to trust you. Generally, if people don't trust their partners they shouldn't be with them.

I'm not saying this is the right thing to do but I'm just explaining what I did in this situation. My last boyfriend had a lot of unknown numbers calling and texting. I would sneak on his phone, get the number and find out who it was, then I would lie (I know it wasn't right) and say 'her name' had messaged me screenshots can you explain (therefore he wouldn't know I was on his phone) and he would explain.

It sounds like it was very early in your relationship. Were you even exclusive? Did you talk about being exclusive?

It sounds like he stopped speaking to her once you were officially BF/GF.

I see no issue here. He's not speaking to anyone but you anymore and you two are now committed. Let it go. If you get the hint that he's not being faithful, then revisit that issue.

I would honestly just talk to him. It's never going to leave your head until you do and it's going to drive you crazy. If your too scared to actually ask him to his face, ask him over text? Just tell him that you seen the texts and you've been worrying ever since explain that you didn't say anything sooner because you know it was wrong to check his phone and that you apologise for that, but as your in a relationship your going to need an explanation of what was going on and if anything has happened.

have you tryed searching her number on facebook? or get her number from his phone and store it in yours and download whatsapp if you dont already have it?

If you are feeling like you have to go through his phone, there is a reason for this lack of trust. If it has already gotten to the point you are having to go through his phone & having to wonder I would definitely sit down & talk about this because communication is key. But if this becomes a habit I would most certainly be considering ending the relationship, because text messages & phone calls can always be deleted..
