Egg quality??

Hello, I've been ttc for 4 years, we've done everything and are up to the point of ivf. But I'm wondering if it could just be an egg quality issue. I don't get regular periods and have used follistim and ovidrel to ovulate- but still no pregnancy. Has anyone ever heard of just getting your eggs tested outside of the ivf process? I would rather know before hand if that's my issue.
