Do babies know to not snap their necks?

My daughter turns her head really far to the side when she's on my chest. This may sound stupid but does she know to not turn it too far? She makes me nervous. I'm scared if I move her she'll snap her neck 😰

I'm not sure if she know not to snap it necessarily,  but I don't think she would put herself in a position she was uncomfortable with. She probably likes it

How old is she? Newborns dint really have neck strength but the muscles and ligaments are still there keeping the head where it needs to be

I don't have an answer but that was me a few weeks ago ! When she was a newborn that's all she did , now she doesn't turn it as far as she used to
