What do you moms think of this formula?
My baby turn 3 weeks today and i have been breastfeeding him but i feel like he doesnt get full and i want to try formula for night time feedings only any advice?

You really shouldn't give it to lo hun, stick to just breastfeeding if there were concerns with lo gaining weight your health visitor would say otherwise and baby would most definitely let you know good luck

If you want to keep your supply up, everytime baby gets a bottle you should be pumping. Otherwise skipping those feeds will only signal your body to make less milk. Unless of course that's what you're going for, then don't pump. But as far as the formula goes, I would test it out for a day or two (mixed with breast milk though as to not mess up baby's tummy) and so how LO does.

I did the same thing for night feedings while breastfeeding and ended up needing to buy the gentlease instead because my daughter ended up getting a lot of gas

Don't do formula unless the doc says it's necessary. If you supplement a feeding with formula, you're just going to limit your milk production more.

That said, when my milk supply dried up and I HAD to give my daughter formula, Enfamil Gentlease was the best formula for her- all the rest made her spit up so much more (especially Similac).

But talk to tout doc. Some babies just cluster feed a lot more and they seem like they aren't getting enough. But DON'T substitute a nursing session for formula.

If you are adding formula do it right after you nurse.  That way it doesn't mess with baby's tummy and that way there's no confusion.  I do this and was told by the LC at wic to do so because my son's been losing weight and can't seem to gain anything in the last 5 weeks :(

Gentle ease is really good! I give it to my daughter and she hasn't had any problem at all! Give it a try, every baby is different! Hope it works!
