Anyone else keeping your pregnancy secret until Thanksgiving?

Hubs and I are looking to keep the pregnancy secret until after 12-13 weeks which sets us around Thanksgiving. Then we're going to share the news by doing the family circuit for the holiday. Anyone else keeping baby a secret until 12-13 weeks??

I want to wait and announce it as a Christmas card, even our parents and siblings! I feel bad about making close family wait but our last was a miscarriage and we told everyone and regretted it. So waiting for a nice safe zone this time! I hope I can get away with the "I'm just getting fat" excuse until then 😂

That's exactly what we are doing! I'll be 15 weeks but we don't live anywhere near our family so I know waiting until we fly in over Thanksgiving break will make it soo much more special by telling them in person! Plus we will be able to see mine and his family!

We're telling our families at my husband's birthday party at the end of September but are waiting to announce to everyone else at 12 weeks.

To the extended family yes. We told parents and siblings a week after I found out because I have a history of miscarriages that we told them about afterwards so this time we decided to just tell them. But we will probably tell around the end of October.

Hubbster and I are waiting until Thanksgiving as well. It's hurting us to not tell anyone,but my sister. My sister and I are pregnant together. So crazy, but Absolutely Excited! Our due date is a month apart, but God!
