baby acne?

Has anyone had experience with their baby having baby acne? Not even positive that's what it is? Don't know if there's a cure or preventative

That looks like a rash, or a severe case of baby acne. I would take him to the doctor

I would say go to the doctor to confirm its baby acne. If it is, breast milk works wonders! Otherwise just time.

Definitely confirm with the doctor what it is first. My baby had severe baby acne around her cheeks to the point of her skin being scaly and severe cradle cap down to her eye brows and eyelids, it was not nice at all. The doctor hadn't seen anything like it before, as in both at the same time. To treat the acne I cleansed her skin, used an a 1% steroid cream twice a day and in between used an emollient cream in between as the skin was dry. Took a few weeks but it worked.

It does look more like rash or a reaction but every baby's different, so check it out especially before using anything like a steroid cream.

If it's baby acne just leave it alone. It will go away w in a cpl weeks. There's no "prevention" it just happens as a result of all the hormones from mom. wash face w warm water only when bathing. It will go away and baby's skin will be perfect again.
