Do you feel yourself ovulate?

I use NFP for my BC, which really started enlightining me to a certain pain I always got 1/2 way through my cycle. I just realized long ago that I mist feel my own ovulation! I knew it was possible, but I didn't think that was what I was feeling. Yet for the last year I've been using NFP I've noticed these pains came on the day that I would later conclude had to be when I was ovulating.

It's almost like a period cramp, but too localized to be a period cramp. My period cramps go all the way into my legs and with this mid take cramp feeling it's almost always localized to one side and higher up on my tummy. Today it's my right side. Some how it's an ache/cramp and a sharp/stabbing feeling at the same time! Not too bad but bothersome and irritating.

Does anyone else experience this?

It's always an odd feeling. During my fertile week I get weird localized craps too like where my ovaries would be. It's almost a good feeling, kinda feels like a pinch but like.. A crampy pinch 😂 and sometimes it's only on one side and sometimes it's on both, but I've noticed that when I get ovulation pain on both sides my period is heavier.
