temp in house

Hi! What temperature do you keep your house set at during the night? I know studies suggest you should keep it between 68-72, but we so far have kept it around 74. We live in Southern California so no matter what we have to have air on. But my husband keeps having the argument with me as to why we don't set it to like 75/76. Here is why. Tonight it's on and running right now and we are in bed with two blankets on. So we are clearly on the colder side. Baby is in her room in sleeper pjs and a halo swaddle. Husband says that if we are cold isn't she?? My answer back is that studies show temperature should be at 68-72 lol. So question for you, what do you keep your temperature at? should I turn mine up?
