Nasal bone - Downs
My sonographer was unable to detect a nasal bone on my 20 weeks scan, they stated this can be a marker for Downs syndrome. She then referred me to a consultant he completed a second scan and stated he still cant detect it and babys facial profile is flat. All other measurements and checks were fine/normal. And my 12 week NT test came back low risk
Im in panic mode right now, so upset. I will love my baby no matter but im emotional.
The consultant is sending me for a MRI scan this week and then i will see him the week after for the results. The consultannt said he doesnt want to speculate until the results arrive but the sonographer has already planted the seed in my head.
Anyone else with this experience.
My baby is very active and has hardly kept still for the scans lol
