VBAC advice

Just need some information regarding vbac. I had a scheduled c section with my first pregnancy, my daughter was breech. I'm wondering what are the 'rules' regarding a vbac. So I never went into labour with her, we never did any cervix checks, I had my daughter the day before my due date, so it will all be new for me.

I've heard a few things...

1.that you can't be induced

2. That they won't allow you to go past your due date

3. They won't let you do it if your baby is a certain size.

I'm just wondering if anyone else had been through this successfully and what the circumstances are. I had a good recovery with my c section and I'm not against going through it again, but I assume this will be our last child and I really want to experience a natural birth.

Also, should mention, my c section was 2.5 years ago. Im almost 17 weeks, haven't really had a Dr apt yet, I had one, enough to tell me I had to be transferred to a different doctor, then that doctor doesn't see women until 22 weeks so I have to see another one, so now I'm waiting for an apt still.
