Are we really just FWB?

So, it's been a while since I posted about this but now there is something even more confusing that has happened. The guy that I have had a thing with asked me to hangout with him and his parents. We went to his house where I got to meet his parents and get to know them a bit before we went out to eat dinner and watch a movie. Is this something fbw usually do? Or is this a sign that there may be more to this relationship?
