Going to an amusement park on my period!?

I'm going to an amusement park with one guy friend (were not dating) but I just started my period today. I had a feeling I was going to start because yesterday I had cramps and back ache and I felt nauseous. On the first day my flow isn't too bad, usually medium to light buy I'm wondering if I'll be able to go on the big rides and stuff and one of them is a water ride that gets you super soaked. I dont want to pet my period stop my fun so how can I make sure I don't leak??? Also I only ever use pads, not tampons.

If you wanna do water rides id really try tampons for the day if you use a pad itll just absorb a bunch of water and be like a soggy diaper

try tampons!! i didn't like the idea at first but  now i rarely use pads.

I went to an amusement park on the second day of my period which is my haviest day. I just made sure to have extra pads and I did get on a water slide too I just made sure to try to change my pad as much as I could.

Pads and water don't go together, I'd try tampons if you want to go on water rides. Otherwise you'll need extra underwear and spare pair of shorts or whatever you are wearing there. Because pads soak up water and you'll be very uncomfortable.

You'll need to go toilet straight after which is why a tampon is more convenient

I would just keep enough pads on me (obviously) 😂 and a extra pair of underwear and shorts, but going on roller coasters should really do anything to make you bleed on your underwear. The water ride I wouldn't go on tbh but if you want to just change your pad and maybe underwear if soaked.
