Wife keeps going back and forth with our inswmination date and I feel my self getting to the point of , Fuck it! It's frustrating to get my hopes up we are finally going to hvw a baby and she changes her mind for every reason in the book. She's a solider recently promoted to e5 an prior to that we pushed Insemination u till she got her promotion. Well she has it an STILL nothing. Then she wanted to push it back so she could re enlist so we could move as a family well she re enlisted an We're moving may 10, 2017. An then we set a date An BAM again she wants to change it.

I think that for many same sex individuals/couples, because it is such a deliberate decision to conceive (more than 51% of pregnancies are unplanned, while most same sex pregnancies are incredibly thought out), it's easy to get caught up waiting for the perfect time. Many couples with kids have assured me that there is no such thing as the perfect time. At some point we all have to just jump in and make it work. I know my wife and I struggled with this, and delayed for years. Ends up, we are currently pregnant at the same time that we are kicking off a full home remodel, and (while it's early and I don't want to jinx us) if this is THE pregnancy, we'll spend the first few months of this baby's life living in the spare bedroom at my in-laws. And that's okay. What I think a lot of same sex couples probably don't recognize is that just by having to make this so very deliberate decision that we want kids and will pursue them, we've already thought about a lot of things that many parents may not think as deeply about in advance. If you both know you want this, everything else will come together. I suggest trying to get her to open up about whether or not she is serious about wanting kids, find out what her fears really are, ask her what the two of you can do right now to help alleviate those concerns, and ask her if you guys can start doing pre-work in the meantime (For example if you are doing IUI and you haven't already, you will need to choose a donor, find a doctor, do a consultation and labwork, etc.). My wife and I did this. We were able to alleviate several concerns we hadn't been sharing with each other, and once we had momentum, we both felt ready to go through with IUI. Good luck!

I would be frustrated too. Just be honest & tell her. Ask her why she keeps prolonging it. Also remind her it can take a while for some women to even get pregnant so it's best to try sooner than later.
