PADSICLE ANYONE? Who has tried them?

This is my first time trying these, heard a lot of good things about them! Who has tried them?

The hospital told me to just put some water on the baby diapers, freeze, and use them as pads or to do the same with pads. The cold feels really good when you're so swollen and your stitches are aching. All the other ingredients are unnecessary, at least in my opinion, but i never tried them

Didn't really care for them honestly. I was fine with out a pad 4days postpartum and I had slight 2nd degree tear. Tucks witch hazel pads and dermoplast were what I used most. I still have the ice pads the hospital gave me for future baby's though. Lol

I had a 4th degree tear and these kind of pads burned my tear.  If I had it to do all over again I'd just go onto Amazon and buy some of the disposable cold packs they give you in the hospital.

I tried them, wasn't a fan. I just did a pad with 3 tucks, and sprayed Dermoplast on them.

I had a compound birth and although my vagina itself was OK, my internal bones hurt (still hurt 6 days pp) so I'm still using my Padsicles to comfort my bones. I didn't put too much aloe vera and used essential oils to help speed up the healing. The trick is not to over do it on the ingredients as it'll use up some of its absorption powers (I'm on blood thinners so I'm bleeding more than the average person). No gooey pads for me.

I made about 20 of them and only used like 2. The aloe vera gel just made things feel yucky down there. I just started pouring witch hazel onto the overnight pad before I put it on instead, or get tucks pads with witch hazel and stick it into the pad. The hospital also gave me a few ice cold pads to take home and that felt good.

I think if I had had a more traumatic birth I would have used more.  I had a ton left over and didn't really use them.  Depends were helpful

Ice pads were great in the hospital, but didn't need them once I was home.
