How much longer?

Hailey
My, newly, husband and I have been together since we were 15 in high school. Now, 10 years later, we are finally married and currently on our honeymoon. We have been sexually active for 9 of those 10 years, 8 of which have not been 'protected' in any way. My periods have always been very inconsistent but I never felt like there was a problem. Now that we are married and I have graduated college (something I told him I wanted to accomplish before we got married), starting a family is at the top of my list. And like I said, we have been sexually active since we were 16, and officially TTC for a number of years now, but every time I am late, I get my hopes up. I always get a negative. How much harder do I have to try? How much longer do I need to wait? All our friends have kids and they always ask when we will have one, and it's heartbreaking to say that we don't know. We are enjoying our honeymoon, the way newlyweds should, but every time we have sex, in the back of my head, I am hoping and wishing that his swimmers will make it and we will finally become parents. Seriously though, how much longer?

Try tracking your temperature and cm. Even though you're irregular maybe one morning you'll check and realize "hey this means I'm fertile today" also stock up on ovulation tests. Praying for baby dust for you two. Now enjoy your honeymoon! Let loose and try not to stress. Have fun!

Also, the other night before we left for our honeymoon, my cm was very low and hard at the same time, which made it hurt really bad to the point I instantly pushed him off of me as soon as he finished. Not sure what that was all about.

Thank you. We tracked my temp for almost a year and never really saw a difference in it. I also check my cm regularly and every time it's low and open I run straight back to bed and wake him up. (He never complains 😉)

Have you talked to a doctor? Anyone under 35 ttc taking a year or more to get pregnant should consult a doctor. Good luck and baby dust 🌌

My Dr knows and he doesn't seem too worried about it...
