bleeding a lot after sex

Hello I'm 10 weeks pregnant.. So yesterday I had sex with my boyfriend, and like a hour later I started bleeding like it was miscarriage, but I wasn't in any pain and I was still naseau like usual.. I rushed myself to the hospital and they told me I burst a blood vessel in my uterus and that the baby was fine and to not have sex for a while which is really hard to because me and my boyfriend are very sexual people... has anyone gone threw this and can someone give me some advice on how to deal with it because I'm also on bed rest for two days as well and I also didn't know your not suppose I have sex the first trimester...
