I just got told I have a fat baby!

At the docs office and during the middle of my ultrasound the tech said I totally have a fat baby. I'm 36 weeks and he's weighing 7pounds 7oz. She asked me if they tested for gestational diabetes and I told her it came back negative but that if it was up to me I would swear I have it.. I have been scared of labor this entire time, but now I'm terrified... Anyone else's baby weighing this much with still a few weeks left?
