Cycle regulation after stopping bcp

I have had very regular periods all my life. After I had my daughter I was on Mirena for 3 years and then been on bcp for 2 years. Of course when I was on bcp my cycle was very regular. I have been off of my bc since June and my cycle has very long in length but my actual period days are still approximately the same. My husband and I are trying for a baby and I guess I'm just curious, in your experience how long did it take your cycle to become normal again?
